PhD in Sociology Decartes University (Sorbonne) 1990, Professor of Sociology, Department of Sociology Panteion University of Social & Political Sciences since 2007RC14 President (2006-2022), member of the Board of RC13 (2010-2014).AISLF member of the executive board 1996-2004 & 2008-2016, responsible of RC of Identity and Politics and Political Sociology; 2004-2005 VP of the Hellenic Sociological Association. Member of the scientific committee of reviews (“Sociétés”, Paris, “Socio-Anthropologie”, Paris, “Sociologies” –on line review, “French Journal for Media Research” –on line review, OJSS on-line review etc.). Article reviewer; Knight of the Order of Academic Palms (French Ministry of National Education 2012). Author of many scientific articles and monographic works (mostly in Greek, French and English but also translated in Portuguese & Bulgarian) focusing essentially on the communicational structures of contemporary societies.

José A. Ruiz San Román, Complutense University, Spain

B.A in Journalism and Law and a Ph.D in Communication from Universidad Complutense Madrid (Spain). Professor at the Department of Applied Sociology, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). He is author of “Introducción a la tradición clásica de la opinión pública” (1997) and co-author of “Sociología de la Comunicación” (1999) and “Investigar en Comunicación” (2005). His research interests include Public Opinion, Media Effects, Social Campaigns and the work of Amitai Etzioni.

Dr. Christiane Wagner (Germany) attended the Academy of Visual Arts in Frankfurt, later, in São Paulo, she graduated in Design at the College of Fine Arts. Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and PhD degree in Design and Architecture of University of São Paulo. PhD in Sciences of Art and Aesthetics, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2013), Aesthetics, Contemporary Image. Analysis of the Concept Innovation (First Class Honours Thesis). Visiting Professor of Aesthetics and Sciences of Communication (Postdoc) UNICAMP, São Paulo (2014-2018).

Daniela Roventa-Frumusani, University of Bucharest, Romania

Daniela ROVENȚA-FRUMUŞANI (Ph.D.) is full professor at the University of Bucharest (Department of Cultural Anthropology and Communication, College of Journalism and Communication Sciences). She is director of the French master Programme “Media, Development, Society” ( in collaboration with Lyon University Lumière) ; she is also member of the Doctoral School of Communication and has directed 15 Ph.D. theses in communication science (focused on advertising, gender studies, discourse analysis). Specialist in semiotics, gender studies and discourse analysis, she authored over 100 studies and articles in the above mentioned fields. She is member of the ISA-RC14 board , of the SFSIC (French Society of the Information and Communication Sciences), IPrA (International Pragmatic Association), and of the team of AUF experts of Central and Eastern Europe

Dimitra Laurence Larochelle, New Sorbonne University, France

Dimitra Laurence Larochelle is a PhD Candidate on Sociology of Communication and Cultural Studies at the Communication Department of the New Sorbonne University (Paris, France). She is currently working as a Research and Teaching assistant (ATER) at the University of Dijon. She has two master degrees on Sociology (University Paris Descartes) and on Communication (French Institute of Journalism, Panthéon-Assas University). She has worked as a teaching staff at the New Sorbonne University, at Paris Descartes University, at Saint-Denis University and at the University Paris XII. She has published papers in French, in English and in Greek and she has worked as a researcher in France as well as in Cyprus. Her research interests concern Cultural Studies, Gender Studies and social representations.

Luc Bonneville, Ottawa University, Canada

Luc Bonneville (Ph.D.) is full professor at the University of Ottawa (Department of Communication). He is the co-chair, with his colleague Sylvie Grosjean (Ph.D.), of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Organizational Communication (GRICO). Bonneville is also a researcher at the Montfort’s Knowledge Institute (Ottawa). Over the last few years, Bonneville has focused on the constraints and pressures experienced by workers in various public organizations such as hospitals and universities. He is also involved in several research projects in the field of technological innovation in the healthcare sector, with a keen interest in all that concerns the organizational and communication transformations induced by telemedicine and telehealth.

Oksana Lychkovska-Nebot, Odessa National University, Ukraine 

Oksana Lychkovska-Nebot - Doctor (PhD) of Sociology, Professor Associated of Sociology Department of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University (Ukraine). Actually she is also a chair of ISEWE (Intercultural Spaces of Eastern & Western Europes) - Centre of Intercultural Studies & Research Network, Paris, France. Author of more than 75 scientific papers (1996-2018). Member of ISA, ESA, IAMCR and SAU (Sociological association of Ukraine).

Parvez A. Abbasi, V N S G University, India

Professor Abbasi is former Professor & Head, Department of Sociology, he earned M.Phil. and Doctoral degree in Sociology. He worked as Research Officer on UNESCO and Indian Council of Social Science Research projects. He is member of editorial advisory board of a journal, ETDR and associate editor of a journal of Indian Sociological Society. He has published several research papers to his credit in various national and international journals and a book on Social Inequality among Indian Muslims. Professor Abbasi is life member of Indian Sociological Society and member of ISA. He has organised sessions of RCs 14 & 52 in ISA World congress and ISA Forum of Sociology at Yokohama, Vienna and Toronto.
